Santa Fe Mayoral Candidate Roman Abeyta’s campaign manager’s, Raymond G. Sandolva, Facebook photo was used in a sex ad on Craigslist.
Sandolva told the Santa Fe Reporter that he took the “underwear” only photo because he wanted to show off the results of a new “exercise routine” that he and his ex-boyfriend were doing.
But according to a fella name Sean Gallegos, this is not the first time that Sandolva has used his “partially” clothed body to advertise himself to would-be gentlemen.
Gallegos told the Santa Fe Reporter that Sandolva posted so many scantily clad pictures of himself that he lost his job as New Mexico state director for the Obama for America campaign.
Sandolva denies those claims and has filed a police report in the hopes of finding out who posted the scantily clad photo.
Unfortunately for Sandolva, his denial may not gather him much support among the democratic base.
Sandolva’s harsh criticism of New York Times Columnist Paul Krugman’s support of the 2011 debt-ceiling deal did not sit too well with the democratic base.
Sandolva referred to New York Times Columnist Paul Krugman as a “political hippie” and the Progressive Liberal website FireDogLake as “Firebraggers.”
Jane Hamsher, who is a co-founder of FireDogLake, described Sandolva and the Obama for America campaign as incompetent.
She said, “If this is a brilliant political strategy on the part of OFA, someone is going to have to explain it to me. This smacks more of narcissism and personal vendetta than any sound political strategy.”
